Ancra Announces A Significant Improvement In Winch Design
Ancra has developed a ratcheting winch feature that is available on most of its popular winch models. Called the SilverCap Ratcheting Winch, the built-in ratcheting feature saves time and gives the operator an extra margin of safety to reduce personal injury. The innovative winch uses the existing winch bar, but doesn’t require that it be removed from the cap to take the next "bite".

Ancra’s New Qwik Hooks‘ Help Secure Pickup Truck Cargo
Ancra has introduced a quick and easy way to add anchor points exactly where they’re needed in most standard truck beds without over-the- rail bed liners. The operator just places a Qwik Hook at the most advantageous location and uses tie-downs, rope or cargo nets to secure the load. A full 1250 lbs.of working load per hook provides lots of holding power. When not in use, the compact hooks can be stored in the glove box. Qwik Hooks are available in packs of four.
Ancra Announces Fold-A-Deck To Increase
Trailer Cube In Mixed Loads
Ancra is offering a new second deck system that lets you carry mixed loads of cargo efficiently.
Fold-A-Deck panels lie flat against the trailer side when not in use and fold down quickly when needed. One operator can configure the trailer in minutes to carry bulky or non-standard shaped cargo, barrels or cylinders.
The convenient new concept in decking has been on the road for more than a year
and has been selected over competitive systems for fleet orders. At one OEM,
Fold-A-Deck was the only system that successfully completed a long-life simulation
test. All others failed. Operators also report that in addition to maximizing their trailer cube, claims of damaged cargo were reduced.
Ancra Winches and Winch Straps Strongest in Industry
Continued efforts to provide the trucking industry with superior products, Ancra announces that they have achieved superior strength in their winch and 4" winch strap products. Winches now meet minimum breaking strengths of 16,200 lbs., 5,400 lbs WLL. This upgrade results in the strongest winches and straps in the industry.
Ancra’s GlideLock Sliding Load-Securement Bracket
Meets FMCSA Standards.
Ancra has introduced GlideLock a bracket that can be positioned where needed along flatbed trailers to ensure the correct pull-angle for securing cargo. Used on trailers with trailer rail, double L track or conventional winch track, the bracket slides into the desired position where it locks in place. Once in place, the flat hook is engaged and locks in position so that it can’t shift or come undone. The bracket is rated at a 5,400 working load limit.

Ancra’s New Torque-Limiting Ratchet Buckle
Reduces Trailer Damage
Ancra has developed a buckle that protects against overzealous tightening that can actually rip out logistics track and buckle side walls. A ratchet mechanism limits torque to 300 pounds—enough to secure the load, but not enough to cause damage from over tightening. Six assemblies are available to handle any requirement.
Ancra Introduces Premium-Performance Blue Webbing
Ancra has introduced the ultimate in high-strength, high-performance webbing. Colored blue to set it apart from standard webbing, the new 24,000 lb. rated webbing dramatically improves facial abrasion resistance and offers more body and firmness. The product carries a higher strength to weight and thickness ratio than other premium webbing with less elongation. Ancra Blue delivers 70% retained strength after 2,500 full cycles.
The new webbing is available on winch straps with flat hook, delta ring, twisted loop and chain anchor fittings. Ancra’s 3.25-inch flat hook fits through any truck stake pocket to provide superior holding power.
Ancra’s Lift-A-Deck II Helps Increase Revenue
Per Mile By Double Stacking Pallets
Ancra has improved its popular decking beam system with Lift-A-Deck II. The patented second-deck system can double the amount of palletized freight that can be carried, or accommodate mixed loads of pallets and other cargo types. Decking beams are stored at ceiling height and when needed, are easily moved by one operator to the desired height. Positioning is in one-inch increments. For loads that require full height, the beams are simply moved to the ceiling. Since the beams stay with the trailer, they can’t get lost or left behind.
Lift-A-Deck has the strongest standard beams in the industry at 2,200 lbs. and the widest choice of track types to meet every application. By increasing the trailer cube, increased revenues per mile are achieved.
